Welcome to the 2016 Spring Fishing Season.
Chestatee Fly Fishing is located in historic Dahlonega, Georgia. Dahlonega is the site of the first major U.S. gold rush and is surrounded by beautiful trout waters at the base of the Appalachian Mountains.
Come spend the morning, afternoon or entire day with us to experience fly fishing at its finest. We offer guided fly fishing trips on trophy managed rivers and select public waters. Based on your choice of waters, you will have the opportunity to catch brook trout, brown trout and rainbow trout. Everyone is welcome to fly fish with us.
Our guides will assess your current fly fishing ability and assist you to advance to the next level.
For the beginners we offer fly fishing classes.
The experienced fly fisherman or fisherwoman is offered the opportunity to catch trophy trout in some of the best water the Dahlonega area has to offer.
After a day of fishing you can enjoy numerous festivals and events throughout the year in Dahlonega and surrounding beautiful mountain towns, including the unique Bavarian-style town of Helen.
Also you have easy access to Springer Mountain, the Walasiyi Visitors Center, the Appalachian Trail and Georgia State Parks.
These parks include Amicalola Falls, Talullah Gorge, Unicoi and Vogel.
